Poem for Dad

Poem written by Jay's daughter, Helena.
Angels of Light, for Dad:
The blackened sheets drew close above, through drops of fear and loss and love.
A hopeless night like many before, yet the frightened girl looked looked up in awe.
The blackened sheets weren't black at all, but strewn with lights of white and gold.
She saw them then, the Angels of Light, as they softly sang; "It's ok, it's alright."
So she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, and smiled with her soul and the stars in her chest.
When she woke the next day there was music around her, so she gently danced her sky back together.
He was there you see, he hadn't gone far, he was dancing again through the beats of her heart.
